There are lots of ways you can promote your content on social media. You can do paid promotions or free promotion here. Facebook and Instagram has too many promotional pages that promote your content. Some are paid and some are free.

social media Interactions

1) Interaction with audience and other artists. - Interacting with audience and your artists followers is must on such for social media promotion. You have to figure out what they like and also support them. Upload quizzes, suggestions in your story to start your conversation. Also reply to your followings in their stories & start your interaction with them if their content is relevant to you. You can do collaborations with them and grow together and develop your skills day by day. It will help you reach and connect with more artists like you and gain more engagement.

2) Doing paid/free promotion on feature pages-
Promotion of your content through genuine pages on Facebook & Instagram is another way of increasing artist's insights.

There are many free & also paid promotional pages available on both Instagram and Facebook. Before sending your content for promotion to them, as I stated earlier, make sure the page has genuine and not fake followers.

You can compare contents on their pages by their numbers of likes and comments with number of followers. Some pages have more than 2k followers but number of interactions are very low & they also charge for it. Go for the pages which would feature your content in reasonable price and gain you genuine followers and support. 👍.

You can Check out my features on pages. I am mostly active on Instagram and YouTube. (I have given the link in the intro of pros & cons paragraph)

3) Consistency & Re-targeting- Be consistent on your content and Re-target your audience. You can re-post your content for new followers. Add multiple headlines and attractive & short description to your post. Don't be discouraged if you are not getting enough response. Just keep doing good work and be consistent.

Artists need not to do much hard work for promotion on social media, if their content is unique and relatable.

4) Be creative and go with the trends- Creativity matters a lot here. If people can relate with your content, they will themselves promote it. All you have to do is think of creative ways to post your content and follow the trending topics in your field. You don't even need to add too many hashtags and long description to promote your content just go with the flow and you are on the way of success.

Also not only trending topics but you can also post music i.e. evergreen and underrated. Your genuine audience will promote it too. I have written blog about such songs you can post and can still get good response, if you cover them in creative way. Check this out👉 Easy songs to play on Guitar.

Artists have to keep that in mind. With online interaction, artists should also work on their communication skills when they are interacting face to face. Its vital for artist, creating an emotional connection with their audience and not only posting content and increasing insights and reach.

4) Addiction and distraction- Likes, following is a secondary thing, it will follow as you will keep creating unique content. It may lead to lack of practice and laziness. Artists should keep improving themselves day by day. Sometimes less number of likes may result in low esteem, so never overthink about it. It is addictive and once artist become addictive of it, it can be hard to get out of it. So artist should be aware of all these things and keep his mind in control and work on improvement day by day.

Only posting your work on social media is not enough. There are many other things you have to work on. As an artist you have to work on various promotional techniques to reach more people, which I have already explained in this blog👍.

Improve yourself day by day.

Your latest content should be better than your previous content.

Be unique and have less competition.

Do proper time management for these things while doing your other works.

Do not just waste time on increasing numbers of followings. Just focus on your content development.

A little bit show off is also necessary here.

Do not judge yourself, your talent based on social media insights.

Sometimes you will not get enough response though your content is good but do not give up.

Always keep in mind if your content is good you will surely get genuine followers and supporters.

Sometimes your content could accidentally get viral and after that all you have to do is keep posting quality content. All this will take time. If your talent does not go viral, don't worry. As you keep uploading your followers and insights will increase day by day. Patience is the key success here. Its not difficult to record and upload if you are pro.. The difficult part is doing its marketing/promotion.

Stay updated with policies algorithms & policies of social media platforms. Also keep in mind that as an artist you should be happy about your content, others also will not like it. Do not expect or constantly beg for support to anyone. If you are selfishly only promoting your content and not supporting other artists they wont support you to; exceptions are always there.

Never compare yourself with other artists on these platforms. There are also some people who do not have quality content, but they have huge circle of friends and manpower. So do not get upset about cringe content getting viral.

To sum up just keep up the good work and improve yourself day by day. All the best to you all keep doing what you like without thinking of other people and have a great musical journey ahead!
