Deul Band 2 review

Blockbuster marathi Deul band's sequel has released in theatres on 21 may. Heres my opinion for the movie First part was released in 2015 after 2 weeks of Bahubali release. But it was not affected by the clash, because of its content. After I watched the part 2 trailer, thought this wont be good like the first one. But I was wrong. This movie is not any less than the first part. Deul band 2 is based on farmer's suicide in Maharashtra and their problems. It does not deal with it politically but practically. In a spiritual way.  Faith as a Strength, Not an Escape The story follows a struggling farmer who is pushed to his absolute limit, and his family, whose deep devotion brings Swami Samarth back into the picture. What I really loved about the writing is how Swami Samarth’s character is handled. He doesn’t just wave a magic wand to clear bank debts or make it rain instantly. The movie shows that spirituality isn't a shortcut to skip hard work; it’s the inner strength you nee...

Dhurandhar: Jaskirat Singh Rangi story

If you just walked out of the theater after watching Ranveer Singh transform into the lethal Hamza Ali Mazari, you likely have one burning question: Is Jaskirat Singh Rangi a real person? The movie Dhurandhar blurs the lines between history and folklore so effectively that it’s hard to tell where the files end and the script begins. Here is the definitive breakdown of what is true and what a cinematic masterstroke is. The Verdict: Is Jaskirat Real? No. Jaskirat Singh Rangi is a fictional character but represents real intelligence assets. While the internet is buzzing with theories about him being based on the late Major Mohit Sharma (who famously infiltrated terrorist groups under the alias Iftikhar Bhatt), the filmmakers and courts have clarified that the character is fictional.    However, there is a brilliant "Easter Egg" that proves his fictional nature lies within a Cinematic Universe: In Aditya Dhar’s previous blockbuster, Uri: The Surgical Strike, the characte...

Kinara – A Film worth Watching

Kinara was a film created by a brilliant director, featuring talented actors and a melodious music composer — truly a film that must be seen. All the songs in it were pleasant to hear and rich in meaning, but after Lata Didi’s (Lata Mangeshkar’s) passing, the song most often played was “Naam Gum Jayega,” an intense expression of emotion. Released in 1977, Kinara was directed by Gulzar, starring Hema Malini, Dharmendra, and Jeetendra, with music composed by R. D. Burman. The characters were — Hema Malini as Vasundhara, Dharmendra as Achyut, and Jeetendra as Indrajit. Vasundhara is a classical dancer. She is in love with the poet Achyut, but after his accidental death, she becomes deeply traumatized and remains trapped in his memories, keeping an emotional distance from Indrajit. Indrajit, on the other hand, is sensitive and understanding — but the climax reveals that he himself was responsible for the accident. The song “Naam Gum Jayega” appears at a moment when Vasundhara is...
