Dhurandhar: Jaskirat Singh Rangi story

By Avdhut
If you just walked out of the theater after watching Ranveer Singh transform into the lethal Hamza Ali Mazari, you likely have one burning question: Is Jaskirat Singh Rangi a real person? The movie Dhurandhar blurs the lines between history and folklore so effectively that it’s hard to tell where the files end and the script begins. Here is the definitive breakdown of what is true and what a cinematic masterstroke is. The Verdict: Is Jaskirat Real? No. Jaskirat Singh Rangi is a fictional character but represents real intelligence assets. While the internet is buzzing with theories about him being based on the late Major Mohit Sharma (who famously infiltrated terrorist groups under the alias Iftikhar Bhatt), the filmmakers and courts have clarified that the character is fictional.    However, there is a brilliant "Easter Egg" that proves his fictional nature lies within a Cinematic Universe: In Aditya Dhar’s previous blockbuster, Uri: The Surgical Strike, the characte...

Spider-Man's Connection to Doomsday and Secret Wars

By Avdhut
If you've searched for "Spider-Man Doomsday Secret Wars," you've probably landed in the middle of one of the most confusing corners of current Marvel news. Part of that confusion is the name itself. Doomsday sounds like it should be a DC Comics story. It's usually the name tied to the monster that once killed Superman. But in this case, it isn't about DC at all. It's about Avengers: Doomsday , the movie, and its villain Doctor Doom , played by Robert Downey Jr. So where does Spider-Man actually fit into this? Let's untangle it piece by piece, using what's confirmed, what's rumoured, and what the comics already told us years ago. First, Clear Up the Name Mix-Up The film was originally named Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, actor Jonathan Majors was dropped from the role of Kang . So MCU rebuilt the storyline around a new main villain: Victor von Doom, known as Doctor Doom. Robert Downey Jr., who ended his run as Tony Stark in Avengers: End...

Ramayana Trailer Discussion: What Worked & What Didn't

By Avdhut
Namit Malhotra's Ramayana trailer was released on July 30, 4:15am at Brahm Muhurat. Many reviewers praised it, some criticised it. But the criticism by some reviewers on Ramayana is being considered as hate. If someone is claiming that we are presenting our culture and history to the world through Ramayana, people will be concerned about it obviously. Their PR, Yash and Ranbir fans are defending it blindly. But here's my honest take on what we know about this film yet. What worked: Some visuals in the trailer like Jatayu vs Ravana fight glimpse. Airavat elephant shot (though Indra dev is not visible. They might have saved him for movie or another trailer). Rakul preet casting looks good as Shurpanakha. The Rakshas they previously showed in glimpse was looking westernized. Makers listened to that and gave him Indian look. The lotus scene where Shri Ram is taking knowledge from Vishwamitra was also good. One thing I would mention is, that in comics, they have mentioned Ravana wa...
